Work day in Bethlehem
Posted by Darla
It is Monday and our first work day. Bushara took us way up on a hill overlooking the city where a man is building a duplex. One side of this will be Bushara’s home (until now he has lived in the downstairs of the Bible College).
It was a beautiful sunny day, so we thought it would be plenty warm. Not. We worked all morning on sanding and priming an iron fence. Our fingers were really cold and to do some of the sanding you had to sit on a stone ledge… so the other end was really cold too!
We got a lot done and a driver picked us up at 12:00 for lunch at the Bible College. We are now at the guest house, putting on more layers before we go back to finish the prime coat and begin on the “real” paint.
All are well.

Darla and team,
Has to be hard to get the work done when it gets so cold especially when that work requires use of hands. Good thing you brought the layers to add. Is the temp. now like it was last year? How is the rest of the week going. Loking forward to hearing from you. I miss it when I don’t see a daily report. Hope all is well. Sue

Enjoying your reports..praying each day…1 degree now with gusty winds even though the sun shines brightly. Wednesday will be colder, more snow and windier. You think it’s cold there. Planned a mtg w/Chad for Wednesday, weather permitting. Blessings!
